We welcome people of all ages and abilities to join us at the ranch or from the comfort of your home as we introduce a variety of techniques, concepts, modalities, and activities to move us closer to optimal health and well-being.

In case you’re wondering, we don’t take ourselves too seriously out here. We like to laugh and enjoy good company and conversation along with a goat kid or three while we try fun new ways to get the most out of life!

Join us 9am-11am. Volunteer orientation is from 9:15-9:45am where we'll introduce you to our ranch partners and take a tour for those interested in joining our volunteer team!

Spirit of the Season Celebration

Families and friends of all ages, grab your boots and join us for this FREE family-friendly celebration of the season!

Also known as Christmas at the Ranch, we’ll have games, crafts, farm animals, horse meet-n-greet, live music, sweet treats, dancing, hot cocoa, holiday decor, and so much more for the young and young-at-heart!

We heard Santa will come by for a visit and pictures, too!

Be sure to wear closed-toe shoes such as boots, sneakers, or tennis shoes to be safe around farm animals. Please no crocs, sandals, etc.

Some additional activities may be offered for a small donation to support our nonprofit, EmpoweRanch.

  • If you're hungry, you can also visit The Farm at South Mountain next door for farm-to-table fare!

  • As always, we will have hand-wash stations and hand sanitizer available. We're following local and national guidelines for the outdoors, and we request that everyone respect each other's space and health while on property.

    Volunteer projects may include:

  • BUILDING our flock play space

  • PAINTING pallets, signs, etc.

  • GROOMING our horses and showing them some TLC

  • FILLING bird feeders and hummingbird feeders (wild bird seed donations welcomed!)

  • GARDENING (green thumbs and brown thumbs invited! Donations of seedlings, cuttings, etc. are appreciated)

  • Garden ARTS & CRAFTS - painted garden labels, etc.

  • LANDSCAPING - weed-eating/mowing, lopping/sawing tree branches, pulling weeds

  • CLEANING and CONDITIONING tack (horse equipment)

  • ORGANIZING and LABELING tack and other equipment

  • Horse poo SCOOPIN' crew - for the kids who just love scoopin' poo, or those of us crazy horse people that find solace in the monotony of scooping horse manure
    AND much more!

    Bring your kiddos that need volunteer hours for school, or simply want to come out and be a part of an amazing contribution to this community. Kids under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
    Allergy awareness: Horses, chickens, turkeys, peafowl, dogs, and hay on farm.
